Now that we are coming towards the end of the year, I would just like to draw every body's attention to my wife, Tanya. Over the last 2 years she has been there for me in a way that nobody could possibly understand. After the death of my dad in January 2010 and the sale of our farm in September 2010, she has single handedly supported me, developed and run the business, looked after all the kids, refurbished our house (twice!!), designed the clubhouse at the shooting school... and during all of this, she has continued to push and motivate me with my ''Olympic Dream''... After coming off the ''World Class Performance Programme'' in November 2010 due to 'under performing', she continued to support me and after travelling to the World Cup in Sydney in March 2011, where she was my physio, sports psychologist, coach and mentor, it was undoutably down to her that allowed me to win the event and qualify for London 2012. Since having Charlie in 2007, she has sacrificed 99% of her own shooting to look after the kids, keep the shooting school running while I have been away training, or been with me at the events therefore not having time to do any competing herself. Tanya is the most unselfish person I have ever met, always thinking of others before herself, sometimes to her own detriment, but she has always been there for me in my hour of need and I cant thank her enough for everything she has done for me over the past few years. Now it is her time... the shooting school is finished, the house is finished, and I have qualified for London 2012 and Charlie is old enough to ''press buttons''... over the winter months she is going to make her comeback to competitive shooting to get back to the level she was at in 2006, I personally cant wait to see her succeeding again, she is such a wonderful person and I feel very priveledged to be able to call her ''my wife''... Thanks darling, all my love, Richard.
